About
I'm Marco, an Italian journalist based in Brooklyn. I specialize in cross-border investigations with a data component.
My work has been published in outlets including the Latin American Center for Investigative Journalism, Mother Jones, La Marea, and IrpiMedia. I thrive in collaborative, cross-border investigations and enjoy working with diverse teams to uncover complex stories.
I was trained at the Columbia Journalism School and specialized in data at the Lede Program. Other training includes Next-IJ, DFRLab's Digital Sherlocks, and Finance Uncovered/CLIP's course on Understanding Company Accounts. I've been a Columbia Journalism Investigations fellow, an ICFJ Disarming Disinformation grantee, and a JournalismFund grantee.
